SecureVault does not collect, share, or transmit any user personal data to external servers. All encrypted files (photos, videos, notes) are stored strictly locally on your device. We have no access to your vault passwords or contents.
1. Data Collection
SecureVault is designed with a "Zero-Knowledge" architecture. This means:
- We do not collect personal usage data.
- We do not collect your device information.
- We do not collect your photos, videos, or notes.
- We do not track your location.
2. Local Storage
All data you import into SecureVault is encrypted (AES-256) and stored in your device's internal storage. This data never leaves your device unless you manually perform a backup to your own personal cloud storage (if applicable).
3. Permissions
The app requests the following permissions strictly for functionality:
- Storage / Media: Required to encrypt and hide your photos and videos.
- Camera: Required to take photos directly into the vault.
- Biometrics: Required effectively verify your identity for unlocking (optional).
4. Third-Party Services
We do not use third-party analytics SDKs that track user behavior. We prioritize privacy over metrics.

By downloading or using SecureVault, you agree to these terms:
- License: SecureVault is proprietary software. You are granted a license for personal use only. Unauthorized redistribution, modification, or reverse engineering is prohibited.
- No Warranty: The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss or damages arising from its use.
- User Responsibility: You are responsible for managing your passwords and data backups. Since we do not store your data, we cannot recover lost passwords or deleted data.
